通常第一段由四個句子組成：
- Background statement
- Detailed background
- Thesis
- Outline

Example question:
Technology is becoming increasingly prevalent in the world today. Technology will completely replace the teacher in the classroom. Do you agree or disagree?
1. Background statement: 關於題目的基礎信息
In today’s world, the use of technology is ever-increasing.
2. Detailed background: 更多相關信息
Even in classrooms technology can be commonly seen.
3. Thesis: 你的觀點
It is disagreed that technology will entirely replace the teacher in the classroom.
4. Outline: 主要論據
Analyzing both the inability of a technology-driven teacher to discipline students as well as this robotic teacher’s hindrance to students’ learning process will show this.
