避免使用字眼四：Wrong

 

  • Erroneous 錯誤的

 

He does not want to give people the erroneous impression of being angry, so he has a smile on his face all the time.

他不想給人留下他在生氣的錯誤印象，所以臉上一直掛著微笑。

 

  • Fallacious 錯誤的

 

Some unscrupulous businessmen use fallacious images in advertisements to mislead customers.

一些無良商家在廣告中使用不實圖片誤導消費者。

 

避免使用字眼五：Difference

 

  • Divergence 差異

 

There is a tremendous divergence between the number of participants this year and the previous year.

今年的參加人數與上一年的差距很大。

 

  • Clash 分歧

 

They always have a clash of opinions during the conference, and never try to make concessions.

他們在會議中總是出現意見分歧，從不會作出讓步。

 

避免使用字眼六：Improve

 

  • Ameliorate 改善

 

At this moment, nothing could be done to ameliorate his situation. Let’s just wait for the cat to jump.

此刻已經沒有辦法改善這種狀況了，我們就靜觀其變吧。

 

  • Refine 完善

 

By making continuous efforts to refine the system, it has become much more powerful.

通過不斷的努力去完善系統，它的威力更加強大了。
