想講切絲，除左 cut 仲可以點講？

要係屋企煮一餐豐富的晚餐，當然會牽涉到「切」呢個步驟。但係英文上，我地成日只會唸到用cut。有咁多種切法，究竟要用咩字去形容呢?

Slice 切片

Slice the mushrooms thinly and fry in butter.
把蘑菇切成薄片，用奶油煎一下。

Dice 切粒

Peel and dice the potatoes.
把馬鈴薯去皮並切成粒。

Mince 剁碎

Mince two pounds of chicken finely.
把兩磅雞肉細細剁碎。

Shred 切絲

Shred the lettuce and arrange it around the edge of the dish.
將生菜切成絲，擺在盤子邊緣。

Grate 磨碎

Grate the cheese and sprinkle on the pasta.
將芝士磨碎灑在意粉上。

Chop 切碎
