3. Bet your bottom dollar

意指對一件事有充足嘅把握
e.g. You bet your bottom dollar I will join!
你放心吧,我一定會參加。

4. A blank cheque

意指毋須考慮做一件事情或買一樣嘢嘅代價,因為你已經獲得批准。
e.g. Mary gave the interior designer a blank cheque to renovate her house.
Mary讓室內設計師全權負責她房子的裝修。

5. To feel like a million dollars

意思是感覺十分好
e.g. I just got promoted this morning. I feel like a million dollars!

6. To have money to burn

同直譯意思一樣,就係錢多到可以要嚟燒,意指擁有嘅金錢遠超過生活所需。

7. To pass the buck

將責任推卸喺其他人身上/責備別人

就一件事表達自己意見

10. Paying an arm and a leg

買十份昂貴嘅物品
e.g. John is paying an arm and a leg for his new watch.
